The team travels to North West England to explore Roman artifacts and a potential Roman structure discovered in a family's garden, located just 100 meters from a Roman fort and southwest of the end of Hadrian's Wall. Utilizing advanced Swedish radar technology, the geophysics team attempts to locate foundations buried two meters underground. A small piece of bronze mirror suggests there was once a domestic settlement, or vicus, near the fort. However, the excavation reveals extensive archaeological evidence, hinting at a larger and more organized Roman site, possibly a city. Over the next three days, potter Gilbert Burroughes will guide the team in crafting a Samian ware bowl, joined by Roman expert Lindsay Allason-Jones.
