Time Team returns to a live excavation from 1997, where they previously uncovered a significant Roman complex in a Gloucestershire field. New geophysical surveys have indicated the presence of additional structures, prompting the team to expand their exploration. Right away, Phil discovers some striking archaeological features. Inspired by their findings, they opt to construct a Roman altar featuring a unique inscription. They are joined once more by Roman experts David Neal and Lindsay Allason-Jones to assist in their investigation.
