A mysterious man in a van trails teenage Josh Comstock as he joyfully rides his new motorcycle through the upscale Vista Verde Estates in Washington State. As darkness descends, Josh ventures into a deserted cul-de-sac, where the van driver unexpectedly parks and confronts him. In a shocking turn, the man jabs a cattle prod into Josh’s chest, knocking him to the ground. The following morning, Mr. and Mrs. Comstock are horrified to discover a dead teenage boy in Josh's bed, while their son has vanished without a trace.
