What Lies Beneath (S01E21)

Nestov alerts Cole that Zin has developed a weapon that can permanently strip Cirronian powers, turning them into ordinary humans forever. The pair infiltrate one of Zin's facilities to steal the weapon, but Nestov betrays Cole by shooting him with it! He then captures Mel, binds them both, and invites Zin into the Watchfire, handing over her grandmother's key. They manage to escape, and when Mel harnesses the Collector—activated only by Cirronian energies—she revives Cole’s powers. Cole realizes Mel and her ancestors were part of a Mygar breeding initiative. As they confront Zin's goons, Mel uses the Collector effectively. Meanwhile, Nestov reveals his deceptive plan, hoping Zin would depart. However, Cole uncovers that the Vardian device is a universal-destructor unit, which Zin intends to wield for ultimate control.
