One Fish, Two Fish, Dead Fish, Blue Fish (S02E12)
During a school carnival, Kim convinces Greg to attempt winning a fish for Sam. Uninterested in the idea, Greg tries to intentionally lose, but Jimmy unexpectedly wins the fish instead. Sam adores it, leading Kim to boast about her idea’s success. Unfortunately, the next morning, the fish passes away. Kim pressures Greg into explaining its demise to Sam, sweetening the deal with promises of a new fish and candy. However, Kim interrupts Greg’s explanation, trying to manipulate Sam’s emotions, which infuriates Greg. An argument ensues between them. Later, Jimmy advises Greg to embrace defeat in arguments with Kim for easier reconciliation, prompting Greg to feign indifference. However, he soon reveals the truth, igniting their second argument.
