Forty-seven nations unite under the newly formed United Federation of Nations, immediately declaring war on Britannia to free Japan. In response, the Knights of the Rounds and much of Britannia’s military deploy to Japan. Nina requests that the Lancelot be armed with her newly developed F.L.E.I.J.A. bomb. The Emperor interrupts the Federation’s announcement, challenging Zero to a battle for the world, as they are now the only two remaining powers. Worried for Nunnally’s safety, Lelouch contacts Suzaku, confesses he is Zero, and begs him to rescue her. Suzaku agrees, but only if Lelouch meets him alone at the Kururugi Shrine.
