Rolo activates his Geass to buy Lelouch a moment to speak privately with Nunnally, without letting Suzaku know his memories have returned. Unwilling to fight his own sister, Lelouch orders the Black Knights to capture Nunnally while she’s being transported to Area 11 by airship. Zero boards the vessel and tries to convince her that Britannia is using her, but Nunnally reveals she accepted the position willingly. She says she wants to continue Euphemia’s Special Administrative Zone of Japan and asks a stunned Zero to join her. As Britannian reinforcements arrive and the airship crashes into the sea, Suzaku rescues Nunnally, taking her from Lelouch once again.
