The county fair is just around the corner, and excitement is brewing. Betty Jo selects Everett the pig to enter the cutest livestock contest at Hooterville High. Meanwhile, Bobbie Jo prepares to showcase her singing talent in the talent show, while Uncle Joe sets his sights on winning big at the baseball throwing game. Initially hesitant about joining the cake baking contest again, Kate has a change of heart. At the fair, they discover that the livestock and talent contests are scheduled simultaneously. Betty Jo devises a clever plan for Bobbie Jo to participate in both events. In the end, both sisters achieve victory in their contests, but Uncle Joe inadvertently creates chaos for Kate.
