Steve is presented with a tempting job opportunity from his former Air Force commander to join his new enterprise in New York. Torn between ambition and his current life, Steve struggles with the decision. Betty Jo reassures him that she's willing to follow him anywhere, but secretly, both are searching for reasons to decline the move. Meanwhile, since Steve won't need his airplane in New York, Uncle Joe seeks out a new pilot for it. An unexpected twist from Uncle Joe ultimately provides Steve with the justification he needs to turn down the job offer.
