Lizzie auditions for a fashion show hosted by "Teen Attitude" magazine at a nearby mall and secures a spot. On stage, she dazzles the audience. Following the show, the popular Jessica invites Lizzie to a party at her country club, bringing Miranda and Gordo along. The trio enjoys the festivities, including the hot tub, but Lizzie notices her friends behaving strangely. When Jessica suggests another party, Miranda begins to speak for Lizzie, treating her like a celebrity and negotiating future events. At school, Lizzie experiences a shift in attention, with classmates starstruck and Kate eager to befriend her. Lizzie realizes that Gordo and Miranda now see her as a star rather than a friend.
