In "Gordo and the Dwarves," Gammy McGuire sends Lizzie one of her usual "birthday" gifts: a role-playing game titled Dwarflord: The Conquest. Despite her initial reluctance, Lizzie is persuaded by her mother to try it out, enlisting Miranda and Gordo to join her. While the girls struggle to grasp the complicated rules, Gordo becomes captivated. His obsession grows, leading him to join a school "Dwarf Tribe" headed by Tudgeman, ultimately causing him to neglect his studies and earn an "F" on a test. Lizzie and Miranda, concerned about Gordo's gaming addiction, team up with Matt to stage a rescue mission, abducting him during a game to stage an intervention and help him reclaim his previous life.
