Lizzie and Kate's Big Adventure (S01E28)
After a bout of illness, Lizzie is visited by Gordo and Miranda, who deliver unsettling news: she must partner with Kate for a social studies project. Lizzie panics and tries to avoid class, but her parents insist she goes. Kate is equally displeased about the pairing but shows up at the McGuire home to collaborate on their assignment, preparing a Latvian treat called Alexander Tort. Initially tense, the girls gradually share laughs and reminisce about their friendship. Jo McGuire notices their fun but soon the atmosphere shifts, prompting Kate to leave. At school, Miranda and Gordo inquire about the project, and Lizzie surprises them by revealing it went better than expected—she and Kate are heading to the Digital Bean to work on a computer together.
